Drivers that use the Dulles Greenway toll road and Dulles begin to pay more for their ride Sunday.
The level of the car in the Dulles Toll Road went up by 25 cents, to $ 1.50, the main toll plaza. The rate of ramps along roadways remain at 75 cents. This increase was approved in 2009 by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which operates the toll road.
The Authority said it needed extra money to build the third year of toll increase. Any more would require the General Assembly.
